Server Sync Not Updating Link in Cloud Project
I have built a few sites in the cloud. I am hosting these on my server and upload using the zip from server sync. in the most recent project the link on the project in the dashboard for this project has not updated to my url and subfolder. the site is working fine, but not updating because the link has not changed. the link is still https://coconut5483623.brizy.s... Why is this not updating and how can I get it to update to match the htaccess file ?

Hi Steve,
How did you set the links in the Brizy Cloud project? Did you set them with the long structure (https://sitename/page)? Or did you set them using the short structure and indicate only the page and anchor links (/page1 or /page1/#anchor_link)?
Actually, we don't recommend adding the long structure for the internal link inside the site because in such a way the link is "hardcoded" and it can't be changed in case the site is migrated to another domain. If the site will be migrated we suggest using the short structure and indicate only the page name to avoid such inconveniences you reported. Now, I can suggest only going to each page and update the link to the new domain name. Thanks!

Hi Sandra -
thanks for getting back to me. I may have confused you.
The link was the link generated by Brizy cloud for the new project. It didn’t update. Although, I resolved the issue by deleting the files on my host account. I published and downloaded the server sync files again, edited the htaccess file again and uploaded to my host. All is now working fine.
thanks again

Hi,
Did you receive this inconvenience with the link on all elements? Even on the menu items and elements where you set up the Dynamic links?
Anyway, thank you for updating us regarding this issue! Great to know that all is working fine now!Best regards,

the website was working fine, but it appeared not to be linked to the cloud version. no updates or edits were being synced. the problem was not obvious, but taking it down, downloading a new version (server sync download), resolved the issue. updates now sync fine.
