Head vs. Header Issue Adding HTML code
Hi.
I need to add external code to a site, BUT please read this because the code will not work if added to the "Code Injection" Header (i have attached an image. This is NOT the area where the code needs to go)
The code I need to insert is a video bubble that appears on the site, and the developers of that solution have already confirmed the following:
""" Go to your website builder. You will need to get to the HTML section of your site. The provided code needs to be embed into the Head HTML section of your site.
Please note, this is not the header/footer area of your site. Headers and footers are for site navigation. The Head HTML section is different and is where our code needs to be embed.
If you do not place the code in the right section it will not work.If your website host doesn't give you access to the HTML code section of your website it will not work. If you have questions about where to find the HTML section of your website builder you may need to reach out to your website developers for specific instructs as to where to find it. ""
SO....
I have already tested the Code Injection area (as seen in the image), and that is NOT where the code needs to go.
As described by the developers of the external code-app i am trying to insert have said in the above statement,
So as the area of Code Injection is NOT the place, I am told that there´s another part on the website that should be the HEAD (not header) where i must insert the code.
Can you let me know where i can find it please?

Hi,
If you want to add a code in the head or footer of the Brizy Cloud site, you have to go to the Brizy Settings Code Injection -> Header or Code Injection Footer. They are created to add the necessary code in the head or footer of the site.
These are different by the navigation header and footer that are displayed to navigate through the site and about said the developers. For this reason, they have a suggestive name "Code Injection". If the code provided by the external service you want to add in the Brizy Cloud doesn't work this can be caused by the code or you need to add some code inside the page (body). We tested the script from Google Tag Manager that the same has to be added in the head of the site and all started to work fine. See here. I added it in the Code Injection -> Header, see here and it was placed in the head part of the site.

Hi,
i tried again adding the snippet code into the Code Injection area. BUT NOT WORKING. I have tried and tried again. Then i asked the developers of that code, and there code is fine they say, nothing wrong with it.
As explained, the Code Injection area will not work for this. I need to add the code into the HEAD (not the header) on the website.
Therefore, you suggest to add the code into the "body". WHERE else can i add the snippet code into, OTHER THAN THE CODE INJECTION AREA. Please suggest another part where i can insert the code that is not the Code Injection area.
Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, if the code you need to add in the head doesn't work when you add in the Code Injection -> Header, we don't have any other option to add the code in the head section.
The Code Injection -> Header was designed to add the scrips and codes that have to be added in the head part of the page. As you can see from the screenshots I send you in my last message, the script from GTM added in the Code Injection -> Header, was added successfully in the head part of the page.

Ok, thanks Sandra.
It´s insane what this other company continues to say about adding their code into a website, when (and i agree with you) the snippet code they are providing should work by adding it into the designated area for external code integration. Which is clear to find in Brizy and it works as it should.
So I will get my refund from this other vendor, and for what i can see online, many other customers are having the same issue as I have.
