Head vs. Header Issue Adding HTML code

    Hi,

If you want to add a code in the head or footer of the Brizy Cloud site, you have to go to the Brizy Settings Code Injection -> Header or Code Injection Footer. They are created to add the necessary code in the head or footer of the site.

These are different by the navigation header and footer that are displayed to navigate through the site and about said the developers. For this reason, they have a suggestive name "Code Injection". If the code provided by the external service you want to add in the Brizy Cloud doesn't work this can be caused by the code or you need to add some code inside the page (body). We tested the script from Google Tag Manager that the same has to be added in the head of the site and all started to work fine. See here. I added it in the Code Injection -> Header, see here and it was placed in the head part of the site.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Hi,

i tried again adding the snippet code into the Code Injection area. BUT NOT WORKING. I have tried and tried again. Then i asked the developers of that code, and there code is fine they say, nothing wrong with it.

As explained, the Code Injection area will not work for this. I need to add the code into the HEAD (not the header) on the website.

Therefore, you suggest to add the code into the "body". WHERE else can i add the snippet code into, OTHER THAN THE CODE INJECTION AREA. Please suggest another part where i can insert the code that is not the Code Injection area.

    Thanks

    Hi,

Unfortunately, if the code you need to add in the head doesn't work when you add in the Code Injection -> Header, we don't have any other option to add the code in the head section.

The Code Injection -> Header was designed to add the scrips and codes that have to be added in the head part of the page. As you can see from the screenshots I send you in my last message, the script from GTM added in the Code Injection -> Header, was added successfully in the head part of the page.

    Best regards,
    Sandra

    Ok, thanks Sandra.

It´s insane what this other company continues to say about adding their code into a website, when (and i agree with you) the snippet code they are providing should work by adding it into the designated area for external code integration. Which is clear to find in Brizy and it works as it should.

So I will get my refund from this other vendor, and for what i can see online, many other customers are having the same issue as I have.

    Regards
