Login for Membership function
Hi, I was thrilled when you guys announced the Membership Functionality. I was even watching the live webinar and really excited overall because that function is going to be a major improvement on my website.
But, when I tried to set it up I faced one big issue that I couldn't find any answer out there. I understand perfectly how the membership blocks work and how to set them up and all, but I got really confused with all the previous parts, the creating a login for the users.
My questions are:
How do people subscribe to my website? I see that there's the Login button in Brizy, but that's only to log in as a WordPress user, but it doesn't give the option to my website users to create an account and login.
I saw in the video that Dimi was using WooCommerce to create the Membership, which is great, but I don't need to sell anything, I just want to restrict some blocks to not signed-in users. Do I still need to use WooCommerce for that?
I saw that he used Brizy Templates and Custom Fields to create the website, is there any video o post that explains that more in-depth?
Those are my concerns about this new Membership update, that I repeat, I'm really excited and cannot wait to implement in my website.
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
At the moment, in WordPress, all users (except Customers) are created manually by the admin in the dashboard. It isn't possible to create a user from a Brizy Form, therefore, in the Brizy builder, we don't have the "Sing-in form" element, only the log-in form.
Yes, we have an article regarding Brizy and ACF. Here you can find it.

Sandra, many thanks for your answer.
Regarding AFC, I'll check the link you sent me and move forward with that.
But now talking about the membership function. If I understood right, the only what to have members are people that but something, like paying for something? Could be a free product for example?
Do you know if in the future it will be a "Sign-in" function? Because now, like how it is this, in my case at least is like having a can and no opener. Or there's is a third-party plug-in I can use for people to sign-in and use later the Brizy Login function?
Thanks a lot for your time.
Best,
Manuel

Hi,
Thank you for your message and reply.
Yes, you can try using WooCommerce and create free products. When site visitors will buy that free product, they will come "customers" to your site and therefore will have "customer" role.
Yes, you can try using a WP Registration plugin for offering a Sing-in form to your site visitors. You can try the Ultimate member or User Registration plugin.
Best regards,
Sandra0
