Contact Form not working with umlaut Ö, Ü, Ä

Hello!
Unfortunately I’ve encountered a huge problem as the Contact Form (Wordpress option) on a clients page is not transmitting the content of fields when there is a capitalized umlaut in the text. When receiving the message the place where the content should be is simply empty.
I’m on Brizy Version 2.2.9.1 and Brizy Pro Version 2.2.6.

Please help!

  Hi,

  can you please give us more details? Do you have a text field and then the user add there capitalized text you do not receive it on your email address? Does that text appear in Leads: https://jmp.sh/cT0sz3w ?

  Exactly. When there for instance is a word like „Übermut“ the content of the field is missing.
  Leads are empty when this happens, otherwise not.

  Yes, the problem is only on this particular site. It persists when all external plugins are deactivated and also when I change the wordpress theme … And it also occurs when I create a new contact form on a fresh subpage.

  Hi,

  Can you check this with a different plugin for contact forms? Let's say Contact Form 7. It's the best known. If it works with this plugin, I will create a private ticket and we will inspect the problem on your dashboard.
