AVIF images in Brizy
Hello,
I have been optimizing my site and switched to FlyingPress. Once installed, I had it optimize images to the AVIF format. Images that had already been placed with Brizy were converted to AVIF and remain visible. However, when I try to use an AVIF image in a new location or delete and try to use a different AVIF image, I am met with "Failed to upload file. Please upload a valid JPEG, JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, or WEBP." The images are already in the Media Library. How is it possible for Brizy to allow the image format to be switched and still work, but not allow a new image to be placed? Please help.

Hello Jamie,
At the moment, the Brizy Editor does not support uploading of images in AVIF format. We apologize for the inconvenience. Kindly upload new images in JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG, or WEBP format. You can continue to use the FlyingPress plugin to convert your images to AVIF format.
