Critical: Facebook Scraper blocked (403 Forbidden) on blog posts
Hi Brizy Support Team,
I am experiencing a persistent 403 Forbidden error specifically for the Facebook Scraper on my domain: https://www.extremeportfolio.hu
I have already spent hours troubleshooting this, and I can confirm that:
-
Public Visibility: The posts are published and load perfectly in any browser (Incognito mode as well).
-
SEO & Social Settings: All Social (Open Graph) images, titles, and descriptions are correctly set within the Brizy CMS.
-
URL & Slug Consistency: I have verified that the Slug, the Post Title, and the shared URL are perfectly aligned and correct (no typos, no temporary "test" slugs).
-
Canonical Tags: I have cleared the Canonical URL fields to ensure no faulty redirects are happening.
-
Homepage works: Interestingly, the Facebook Debugger sees the homepage fine (200/206 OK), but every single blog post returns a 403 error.
-
Robots.txt: My robots.txt is empty and not blocking any crawlers.
Since the pages are live but the Facebook Scraper is being rejected, it clearly points to a server-side firewall or security rule on Brizy’s end that is blocking facebookexternalhit.
Could you please check my account and whitelist the Facebook crawler for my domain? This is preventing me from sharing my content on social media with the correct previews.
Test URL for you to check: https://www.extremeportfolio.hu/elmentem-egy-csajoknak-szolo-penzugyi-konfereniara-es-meglepett
Thank you in advance!
Best regards, Erős András

Hello Erős,
We apologize for the inconvenience. Kindly scrape your blog posts again using the Meta Sharing Debugger and let us know if the issue is resolved. You should now see the Response Code of 206.
