Alignment of elements in a product entry

    Hello S R Savoor,

To implement a better alignment between different products cards, kindly follow these two steps.

    1. Use the vertical "justified" Content alignment option for the product cards, in the Archive element. This should resove the issue partially.
    2. If misalignment persists after the previous step, attempt to have consistent length for "Product Short Descriptions".

    Hi KC.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

I have tried suggestion 1, and this kind of works, but text is not top aligned etc. There seems to be a bit of a half-baked job on the Woo support as you have used posts instead of allowing a granular approach to this.

The second approach is out of the question as there are over 500 product lines in this brand alone.

Why is there no ability to adjust each element in a listing. You can click on them and make some adjustments, but things like alignment and gap above etc have all been left off. Just feels as though someone thought it 'unimportant' to support Woo properly and went down the Posts method.

Are there CSS classes I can adjust instead? That would certainly make it easier I suppose.

    Hello Jay,

You could try another approach to achieve a better alignment between the product cards.

    • Set the alignment of the product card to the "top"

    • Add a column around the Excerpt (product short description) and set its height to "Custom". Through a trial and error approach, fix an appropriate height to achieve perfect alignment of all product cards.

Checkout the Shop page at https://brizy.support/shop/ where I have implemented this approach. Kindly watch the screen recording at https://jmp.sh/hrabiEJh  for a more detailed explanation.

    Hello Jay,

Sure, Jay; I'd love to have Appam and chicken stew for breakfast. Please send it along. 😊
