Brizy error with Astra theme
Good afternoon,
I have installed the Brizy Pro plugin on an existing website which currently works with Elementor. After installing Brizy + Brizy Pro i get this error on my screen: Could not find #brz-ed-root and Your theme must use the the_content filter in order for Brizy to work. See attached screenshot. can you help me /give instruction on how to solve this issue.
Best regards,
Walter.

Hi Walter,
Thank you for reaching out.
Could you please try switching to a different theme (preferably a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-One) and check if the issue persists? This will help us determine if the problem is theme-related.
If the issue remains, kindly disable all other plugins except Brizy and Brizy Pro, then test again to see if there’s any change.
Let us know how it goes, and we’ll be happy to assist further.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
When i swap to a default wordpress theme the problem still persists. So now i will disable all plugins and see what happens.

Ariel,
Just found the problem. It's a conflict with the Elementor plugin. When i disable Elementor, Brizy works. But i have to create all pages new again don't I? i can not import them from elementor?

Hi Walter,
Thank you for the update.
Brizy and Elementor use completely different editing systems and structures, so pages created with Elementor can’t be edited or imported directly into Brizy. Each builder stores its content in its own format, which is why disabling Elementor allows Brizy to work, but the existing pages won’t carry over.
Unfortunately, pages built with Elementor would need to be recreated in Brizy if you’d like to switch builders.
If you have any questions or need help rebuilding specific sections, feel free to let us know.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Very strange, i disabled the elementor plugin and strated building with Brizy. Once the page was finished i activated Elementor again and to my surprise when i started again with building a page with Brizy it was working again. So good idea if you get an error disable Elementor then start with brizy and afterwards activate Elementor ans all is well. Hope it helps other people who might encouter the same problem. Have a nice evening. Cheers, Walter.
