    Hello Jonathan,

Out of 20 pages, 9 are discovered but are not currently indexed. 7 pages are crawled but currently not indexed. "Crawled - currently not indexed" in Google Search Console means Googlebot visited your pages but decided not to index them, often due to low-quality/thin content. A minimum of 300 words is often recommended to avoid being classified as "thin content". It is good to aim for 500–750 words at a minimum for pages to ensure enough context for search engines.

Let's look at the total number of words in some of the pages that are not indexed

    1. https://www.this-camera.com/contact-us  - 153
    2. https://www.this-camera.com/events - 139
    3. https://www.this-camera.com/ancillaries - 132
    4. https://www.this-camera.com/blog - 95

The above pages have less than 300 words. Word count for these pages where calculated using https://www.seoreviewtools.com/bulk-web-page-word-count-checker/
This could be one reason why some of your pages are not indexed. Other possible reasons

    • Crawl Budget Issues: Googlebot is overwhelmed or limited.
    • Technical Delays: Sometimes, it just takes time to index a page.

    Thanks for the reply KC

BUT I understand I need to add more content, but there are still 17 re-direct errors which are being caused by the Brizy platform not handling the re-directs correctly from the bare domain to the www.

Please advise what is the issue here - this seems to be an issue wth Brizy re-directs.

    See attachments from Search console.

    Thanks for your attention

    Hello Jonathan,

Brizy Cloud publishes websites on the www subdomain and not on the root domain. Visitors to the root domain are redirected to the www version.

When "Page A" redirects to "Page B", Google will index only "Page B" (and will not index "Page A"). This is a normal indexing behavior of Google and it is not an error. Let's look at why the first 4 redirects in your screenshot happen.

    1. http://this-camera.com/ redirects to https://this-camera.com/. Hence the first URL will not be indexed
    2. https://this-camera.com/ redirects to https://www.this-camera.com/. Hence the first URL will not be indexed
    3. https://www.this-camera.com/home redirects to https://www.this-camera.com/. Hence the first URL will not be indexed.
    4. http://www.this-camera.com/ redirects to https://www.this-camera.com/. Hence the first URL will not be indexed.
