Adding tag to existing mailchimp contact

Hello, I 'm trying to figure out how to pass tags through a hidden field in mailchimp but the form don't seem to be assigning them to the contact record.  We're wanting to assign a new tag each time the lead is submitted (even if they are an existing record in Mailchimp). Any ideas?

  Hi,

  Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

  We’re currently looking into the issue. In our initial tests, we were able to reproduce the behavior where the contact is successfully added to the Mailchimp audience, but the tag from the hidden field does not appear in the subscriber’s Tags column.

  We’ve escalated this to our team for further review and will get back to you as soon as we have an update.
