Can't rearrange blocks and global blocks in editor. Blocks not showing in preview/live mode.
Dear Brizy Support Team,
I’m experiencing recurring issues with arranging and reordering page blocks, as well as moving or integrating global blocks. The problem occurs in the editor, and also in live/preview mode.
Blocks sometimes appear in places where they don’t belong, and in other cases blocks that are clearly visible in the editor do not show up in the live/preview view at all. This issue is critical for my website work.
I’ve been dealing with this across many updates—at least since the updates from last autumn. I have updated to the latest versions of both Brizy and Brizy Pro (plugins).
I have sent you an email with the login credentials. I also included links to two draft pages I’m currently working on, where I can observe the issue again. At this point I’m honestly afraid to change anything, because the problem is extremely frustrating.
I need your support with a final solution that is also convenient for me. Errors should not occur unpredictably and/or after every update. This is not how I’ve known Brizy from the past few years.
I’m also available for a video call if that helps.
Thank you in advance.
Best regards
Sören

Hi Sören,
Thank you for contacting us.
We’ve received the site credentials and the page links.
Before we proceed with inspecting the site, could you please create a short screencast demonstrating the issue? Seeing the exact steps and behavior (both in the editor and in preview/live mode) will help us better understand what’s happening and reproduce it on our end.
Kind regards,

Hi Sören,
Thank you for your patience.
I created a separate page called _test, and after disabling all third-party plugins, the issue no longer occurs. The editor and live view are now consistent, which indicates this is caused by a plugin conflict.
This is demonstrated on this screencast - https://streamable.com/awt4j7We noticed multiple optimization/caching plugins are active on your site. Running more than one can cause conflicts in CSS/JS processing and caching, leading to unpredictable layout behavior. Please keep only one optimization plugin active, disable the others, and clear all caches before testing again.
Also, your site is currently using PHP 7.4, which is end-of-life. We strongly recommend upgrading to PHP 8.0 or higher for better stability and compatibility.
Once these adjustments are made, the behavior should remain stable. Please let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Can you tell me which plugins I should disable? On the draft sites I shared with you, the issue still occurs, but it works on your test site.
I also disabled all plugins entirely, duplicated one of my draft sites, and I’m still experiencing the same problem.
I really need a solid solution by today.
I’m looking into the PHP 7.4 issue as well — thanks.

Hi Sören,
Thank you for the update.
During our testing, we temporarily disabled all third-party plugins.
For testing on your end, we recommend starting by disabling WP Fastest Cache first. After disabling it, please clear all caches and check if the issue persists.
If the behavior continues, you can then proceed to temporarily disable the other optimization plugins one by one such as Autoptimize, Cache Enabler, and EWWW Image Optimizer and testing after each step.
This should help identify which plugin is causing the conflict. Please let us know how it goes.
Kind regards,

Hi Ariel, disabled all plugins at once, deleted the cache. Still having the issues with existing sites.

Hi Sören,
Thank you for the update.
Since the issue continues even after disabling all plugins and clearing the cache, the next step is to check whether it may be related to the server environment.
As a first option, you could create a staging version of your website using the WP Staging plugin (or any similar tool you prefer). This would let us test and compare the behavior safely without impacting your live site.
Alternatively, with your permission, we can duplicate your site into a secure staging environment on our end for comparison testing.
Please let us know which option works best for you, and we’ll proceed accordingly.
Kind regards,

Hi Sören,
Thank you for the update.
In the meantime, you can try duplicating the affected pages and see if that helps. You may use the Yoast Duplicate Post plugin to create the duplicates; it works for both posts and pages.
Kind regards,
