Scrolling icon along a vertical line not working as expected
Hello Brizy Support Team,
I recorded a short screen video demonstrating the issue I’m having: https://app.dadan.io/video/share/vxvgKnFHVwr3IEfr
In this video, you can see that I’m trying to place an icon on a vertical line so that it starts at the top of the line and then moves down along the line as the user scrolls, until it reaches the end of the line. However, instead of working as intended, the behavior is incorrect and inconsistent.
I have already set the start and end points for the animation, but these parameters don’t seem to function properly. The icon does not stay confined to the line and appears to move unpredictably.
My goal is for the icon to scroll strictly along the vertical line, from top to bottom, synchronized with the page scroll, and only within the boundaries of that line.
Could you please let me know how to properly set this up in Brizy Cloud? Is there a specific setting, structure, or workaround needed to make this work reliably?
Thank you very much for your help!
Best regards,
Nico

Hi Nico,
Thank you for reaching out.
Currently, Brizy’s scroll feature isn’t intended for this kind of interaction. The scroll effect is calculated based on the height of the element it’s applied to, which is why it’s better suited for blocks or larger elements such as images.
Due to this limitation, it isn’t possible to have an icon follow a vertical line or remain constrained within another element using Brizy’s built-in features. Achieving this behavior would require custom CSS and JavaScript.
You may want to consider reaching out to a developer who can help implement this with custom code. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to let us know.
Kind regards,
Ariel H.0
