Brizy Slow Saving Page
Im using the latest 2.7.21 Brizy and 2.7.13 Pro Plugins and experience long saving times when updating a page. I see the circle roating, sometimes its 5 seconds sometimes it can even time out and show me an error that i need to refresh the page.
Looking at the console i see Missing I18n Initialization, which according to Grok:
The console errors you're seeing point to a common issue with Brizy Page Builder in WordPress, where changes fail to save due to failed AJAX requests (the 400/500 errors on admin-ajax.php for brizy_update_item and related actions). The "Missing I18n Initialization" and react-i18next warnings are likely related to Brizy's internal React-based editor not loading internationalization properly, which can contribute to instability, but the core problem is the server-side saving failures.
This is a frequently reported issue in Brizy's support forums, often tied to conflicts, server limits, or data size.
There are no conflicts since its a clean WP install with no other plugins, i the server limits are generous and we are just dealing with normal pictures, nothing huge with high resolutions.
Are you aware of this issue? If you need to wait 30s for a page update its just to long. And loosing an update during a timeout is not cool.

Hi Georg,
Thank you for contacting us.
It looks like the issue is being caused by ModSecurity on your server. To resolve this, I recommend contacting your web hosting provider and asking them to disable ModSecurity for your website. If this is not possible, please ask them to revise the SecRequestBodyLimit in ModSecurity. This is explained here: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/22590197512210
Once this has been done, please let us know so we can revisit your site and check it again.
Best regards,

There is no ModSecurity installed or active.

Hi Georg,
Thank you for the update.
We’ve checked your website and were not able to reproduce the issue you described. We edited one of the test pages and added over 10 blocks without encountering any problems when saving the page. You can see this in the following screencast: https://youtu.be/itJMU1smAFE
To help us better understand the issue, could you please share a short screencast showing the exact steps that lead to the error?
In the meantime, we recommend trying to edit the page in an incognito/private window or using a different browser to see if that makes any difference.
We’ll be glad to continue investigating once we have more details.
Best regards,
Ariel H0 -

Hi Georg,
Thank you for taking the time to create and share the screencast.
We tried to replicate the exact steps shown in your video, but unfortunately we couldn’t reproduce the issue on our side. This is demonstrated on this screencast - https://streamable.com/ftid5e
To rule out a local environment issue, could you please try clearing your browser cache, testing in a different browser, or editing the page from another computer if possible? This will help us determine whether the issue is browser, or device specific.
Kind regards,
Ariel H.0
