Menus not updating

I've added pages to mysite, currently not live, and followed your instruction about how to work with menus, but it's not updating. I've watched your videos and the drop down arrow is not available in the menu section to make the adjustments.

  Hi Ronderick,

  Thank you for the details.

  From what I can see, it looks like the menu you’re editing is coming from a template and is using a text element instead of the Menu element. This is why the dropdown options aren’t available and the menu isn’t updating as expected.

  To fix this, please replace the current text element with a Menu element, then reconfigure the menu from there. Once done, the dropdown arrow and menu settings should appear normally.
