Newest updated broke my sites...
It has happened again. The latest Brizy Free & Pro updated failed in some way. No error messages, no indication of why. Either the Free or the Pro plug fails to up update causing the other plugin to be inconsistent and causing the site to fail. Simple solution is to deactivate both plugins, upload, manually, the newest versions then re-enable them.
For a single site that isn't too much of an issue, for hundreds of sites that is becoming a full time job.
This is happening at LEAST every other version. Having to update 2 completely separate versions of a single plugin just to make it work, especially when the version numbers do not match, is not the way to make sites work.
If you use a CVS (and you should) then you can just "include" the Free code in the "Pro" code and then only have to have a single plugin update when a new version is published.
What can I do to make sure this works across 100+ sites?

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out.
We’ve taken note of this recurring behavior and your suggestions, and they’ve already been added to the existing report for our team. For now, keeping auto-updates disabled and updating both plugins manually in sync is the safest approach. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your continued patience.
Best regards,

Happened again with this last update. This is getting really really bad. If I have to keep dealing with this I will have to look for an alternative. I really don't want to, I like the tool but sites going down because your update failed is a problem.
I now have to go through each and every site, AGAIN, and turn off the updates, which means more work for me when you do have an update.
I have watched this forum for nearly 6 months now and I am not the only one having the issues. Your answers have been either "edit a page and re-save", "try reinstalling the plugins", or "send us your credentials so we can look at it". Each time there is a surge in comments, it is right after one of the updates. In each of these surges, everyone is complaining about the same thing but in different ways. I checked the forums because I didn't want to bother you for support when it would most likely be fixed in the next update. It hasn't.
I mentioned merging the Free code into the Pro code. One update vs Two would fix about 80% of this issue, probably even more. I know it isn't a small task. I also write code but not for Wordpress. I'm very old school, I write older languages like Assembler, Pascal, C, and CoBOL. Merging code isn't easy, but in this case it needs to be done. That is why a CVS is necessary in this day and age. Please do that. You will reduce your own support costs by doing so.
Thank you for a, normally, great product.

Hi Wm,
Thank you for taking the time to share this detailed feedback. I’m really sorry for the continued frustration this has caused—we understand how complex it is for you when updates impact live sites, especially when you’re managing many of them.
If you need to fix your sites quickly, you can revert to an older version using the files available here: https://supportfiles.brizy.site/.
We appreciate your patience and your continued support, and we’ll share updates as soon as we have more information.
Best regards,
