Brizy failed to upload image within editor

I am able to upload images to the media in the wordpress dashboard, but I keep getting a "Failed to upload" message when I try add any images within the brizy editor.

I have blocked as much security as I can with my host, and deactivated every other plugin except for Brizy and I am still running into the issue.

Out of ideas here
