How to make the countdown timer always show a certain number of days?

Hi, is it possible to always have the countdown timer count down from a certain number of days, like 3 days, instead of from an arbitrary calendar date?

  Hello Justin,

  With the Brizy Count Down element, you cannot restart the counter. Kindly consider the "Countdown Timer widget" by Elfsight at https://elfsight.com/countdown-timer-widget/ which supports counter restart. 

  In the Elfsight widget, select the counter Type: "Remaining Time Counter Per Visitor" and set a restart date by selecting the "Counter Restart Settings".   

   

  In the Counter Restart Settings, set an appropriate value for the "Time period before restart"

  Hi George,

   

  I just got a chance to look at this and realized that Elfsight is a paid addon. I understand it doesn't cost a ton, but it's frustrating to pay extra for something that Brizy's timer should be able to do.

   

  Is there any plan to update Brizy's timer in the near future to allow us to create countdown timers not linked to a calendar date?

  At the moment, there isn’t a confirmed plan to extend Brizy’s timer to support countdowns that aren’t tied to a calendar date.   Thank you for the update.

  If you require a custom countdown, you would need to use a third-party widget offered by Elfsight, at least until we’re able to introduce an update.

  Alternatively, you may continue using Brizy’s built-in countdown timer element. While the layout may be limited and not exactly what you’re looking for, it should still work fine from a functional standpoint.

  Hi Ariel,

  The issue isn't with the layout in Brizy's timer, but rather that the countdown must be linked to a calendar date rather than having it start from a pre-selected number of days once the person visits my site.
