    Hello Matthew,

The Cart and Checkout page is not active since you are currently on the 14 days Trial plan. Once you add a Shop Pro plan to your project, this page will wokr well, just like at https://lunea.brizy.site/

I have purchased the Venture Shop add-on/upgrade, but I am continuing to hit the same issues. Please advise.

    Hello Matthew,

Once you purchase a Shop Venture license, it is available in your account to be activated in one of your projects. I have deactivated the Shop Trial plan and have activated the Shop Venture plan in your "Fripp Life" project. Please check if Pro features are available in your project.

It appears the module is now turned on. However, I am unable to...

    • create an account using the link provided via email
    • enter a city in the address field
    • enter a name in the first/last name field

    Hello Matthew,

I tested your "Cart and Checkout" page. I am able to fill up the first and last name, the city name and move forward all the way till the payment page.

Please try again on a different computer or with a different browser. Only after the user completes the transaction and makes the payment will an account be created. To view the "My Account" page for consumers, you must complete the entire purchase process.

It's fine if a customer can not create an account until making a purchase, however the messaging out of the box is that an account will be automatically created for you if you don't have one yet. And although I don't have an account created yet, I still receive the link upon entering my email, but the link only takes the user to the website's home page. It's a confusing loop.

The messaging "if you don't have an account, you will have one created automatically" should be changed to reflect the actual functionality and a an error message should note that "an account could not be found that is associated with the email provided", etc.

... also, the "Favorites" feature is not useable (and therefore confusing to customers) unless the customer is signed in. But the potential customer can't create an account until her or she purchases an item, so this also is a UI issue as it confuses the customer.

It would be ideal that if a customer would like to create an account, that her or she is able to do so... even prior to making a purchase. This would also be great for abandoned carts, building a contact list, email campaigns, etc.

    THANKS!

    Hello Matthew,

You need to update your "Store's web address (URL)" for your customers to receive the correct sign in link through email under CMS > Project Settings > Shop > General > Store Profile. I have done it for you. Clicking on the sign in link should now take users to their account page. Kindly check again.

If customers want to open an account before making a purchase, they can do it by clicking on the "Account" link in your website header. If the sign in link works well, would the "Favorites" feature be usable for your customers?

If customers want to open an account before making a purchase, they can do it by clicking on the "Account" link in your website header.

This functionality is now live on the site and appears to work as intended. Thanks so much for the hands-on assistance and guidance.

I'm sure our customers will look forward to creating their accounts as well as "Favoriting" their items.
