Hello Gavin,
While the A Record and the CNAME record point a domain to a webserver, MX Records point a domain to a mail server. To point your domain to Zoho Mail server, kindly sign up with Zoho Mail and follow instuctions at https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/adminconsole/configure-email-delivery.html

Hello Gavin,
We are not aware of a free email provider. Kindly consider these low cost options
-
Proton Mail: https://proton.me/mail/pricing. Select the "Proton Free" option and you will see a popup with the "Mail Plus for only €1/month" Black Friday offer.

- Google Worksace: https://workspace.google.com/pricing.html The "Starter" plan inlcudes a single email address
- Namecheap: https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/email/ You can get a "Starter" plan with one mailbox.
- Zoho Mail: https://www.zoho.com/en-in/mail/zohomail-pricing.html. The Mail Lite plan is quite affordable.

Hello Gavin,
Are you indicating that the website you wish to replicate in Brizy Cloud is now hosted by a hosting company that uses cPanel? Your website's hosting technology has no influence on how your mail server is configured. Or are you saying that the DNS servers for your domain are with a hosting company which uses cPanel? If you are plannig to recreate the website in Brizy Cloud, you do not need your previous host. You can switch the DNS server from your previous host to your domain registrar.
Once you sign up with an email hosting provider, you must follow their instructions on how to point the domain MX records to their mail servers. Each provider will have a documentation like the one at https://www.zoho.com/mail/help/adminconsole/configure-email-delivery.html
We can provide clearer instructions if you specify the domain name you want to use for your project.

Hello Gavin,
If you are planning to host your email on a shared hosting server, kindly contact them to confirm these details
- Do they offer email hosting services on their shared servers?
- Many hosting companies offer email and web hosting services as a combined deal. Can you subscribe to their email hosting even if you don't use their web hosting service?

Hello Gavin,
This is something that you must check with your host. Kindly write to your hosting support and check if you can subscribe to their email hosting even if you don't use their web hosting service.
