HTML in Assets Fields for Global blocks
Hi,
I want to make a template for my blog posts where I will be able to enter the content in html.
I can use the Embed element but in this case I cannot make the block Global which is essetial for me, because in future I would like to make some changes on the side bar (next column) like add an advert or some product... I also want to have there Categories and once I update or add a new one I will need the update on every blog page. I won't be able to do it post by post. I need to do it globaly for all blog posts at once.
My idea was to enter my html blog post in to the Rich Text Asset field but unfortunately it does not accept html.
Is there any way how to do it or work around and are there plans to implement this feature?
Now I am entering the html blog content in the Embed element but the block cannot be globat which is a problem for future development.
Thank you for your answers.

Hi Pavel,
Thank you for contacting us.
As a workaround, you can save the block with custom HTML as a reusable block, which allows you to use it on multiple pages; however, you will need to place it manually in the sidebar on each page. This is demonstrated on this screencast - https://youtu.be/jZzfyZlxXcY
Regarding HTML support in the Rich Text Asset field, we currently don’t have this feature. You can submit it as a feature request on our Ideas and Roadmap page here: https://www.brizy.io/ideas-and-roadmap
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,
