Custom coded Custom Post Types
Is it possible to dynamically reference CPTs custom fields declared inside a custom plugin? I don't want to use PODs or ACF or any other plugin. I'm building a custom plugin for tracking comedy shows through an eventbrite sync. I'm getting all the custom meta fields populated via a rest call, but I cannot dynamically reference them on the CPT page template. For some reason they are not showing up when I try to # them in the editor.

Hi Evan,
Thank you for contacting us.
If your plugin successfully populates the custom meta fields, you’ll need to make sure the custom post type is activated in the Brizy settings first. Once it’s enabled there, Brizy will recognize it and allow you to reference those custom fields dynamically in the editor.

I have done all this and only the standard post fields are displaying.
Is there a particular way/place/order in scope that I need to be declaring these post_meta fields in my code?0 -
Hi Evan,
Thank you for the update.
While we're happy to provide basic information and general guidance, our support only covers Brizy’s existing features. We’re not able to provide detailed assistance with custom plugin development or advanced integrations such as syncing data from Eventbrite. For this type of setup, we recommend reaching out to an experienced developer.
Alternatively, you’re welcome to post your question in our Facebook community at https://www.facebook.com/groups/brizy, where other members may have encountered similar situations and could share helpful insights.
We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,
Ariel H.0
