Images disappear after reload – issue persists despite full cache purge and plugin checks

Hi Brizy Support,

I’m working on a client website (https://camar.nu) and I’m running into a strange issue I haven’t been able to resolve. The site loads perfectly the first time — all images display as expected — but as soon as I refresh the page, all images disappear.

Here’s what I’ve already tried, without success:

  • Cleared all caches (WordPress, InstaWP, and Cloudflare).

  • Set the Cloudflare browser cache TTL to 1 hour.

  • Disabled the Pretty Links plugin to rule out redirect conflicts.

  • Re-saved several Brizy pages to rebuild the asset files.

  • Deleted Brizy and Brizy pro and manually install the latest versions again

  • Tested in multiple browsers and devices (same result).

Could you please take a look or advise what might be causing this behavior?
It seems related to the way Brizy handles cached image assets after the first page load, but I can’t pinpoint where it breaks.

    Hi Mieke,

    Thank you for your cooperation.

    It seems that the affected blocks need to be forcefully recompiled. To do this, make a small temporary change to each problematic block, for example, reduce the block width by 70%, add a 1px padding, or simply insert a period in a text block, then click Update. After that, revert the change and click Update again. This simple action forces the blocks to recompile and often resolves layout issues.     Additionally, the background image takes a bit of time to load. You may want to optimize it using TinyPNG (https://tinypng.com/).
