Request for Guidance on Publishing APECC Website in Brizy
Hello, I hope you’re doing well.
I would like to request guidance and recommendations regarding the correct procedure to publish the new APECC website, developed in Brizy.
Currently, the site is located in a folder called “site,” as the existing website is still live on the main domain. Our goal is to replace the current site with the new one by migrating the index.php and .htaccess files from the new site to the root directory via FTP, and using wp-config.php to redirect all URLs to the main domain.
To avoid any potential issues with Brizy when making the site live in this way, we would appreciate any specific recommendations or precautions we should take before proceeding.
Thank you in advance for your attention and guidance.
Best regards,

Hello Pâmela,Thank you for contacting us.
The easiest and most reliable way to move your Brizy site from the /site folder to your main domain is by using a WordPress migration plugin.
Instead of transferring files manually, a tool like WPvivid Backup and Migration or All-in-One WP Migration can handle the entire process for you. These plugins automatically update all internal Brizy and WordPress URLs in your database and move every necessary file, helping you avoid broken links or missing images that often occur with manual moves.
Simply install the plugin on your current site, create a migration package, and use it to restore your site to the root domain. This YouTube video shows how to move a site from one domain to another, but the same process also works for moving a site from a subdirectory to the root - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtkWM9TnIFE
If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Hello, how are you?
Thank you for your reply.
We ran a test using the WPvivid Backup plugin, and after restoring the new site on a fresh WordPress installation, the internal pages built with Brizy became misconfigured.
Could you please check this issue and guide us on how to proceed to fix it?

Could you please provide us with temporary access to both your main site and the subdomain so we can inspect the setup and check what might have caused the Brizy pages to become misconfigured after migration? Kindly send the following details to communitysupport@brizy.io.

Hello Ariel,
Thank you for your reply. I don't believe it will be necessary anymore, as we have managed to get the website online.
I appreciate your assistance.
