Hi Brizy,

We would like to know if it's possible to create our own email address that matches our website, www.fearlessfemme.me. 

Specifically, we are interested in having an email that includes our domain name, such as hello@fearlessfemme.me.

  Yes, you can create a custom email address like hello@fearlessfemme.me by updating your domain’s DNS settings and pointing them to a third-party email provider such as Google Workspace, Office 365, or any other email hosting service.

  To do this, you’ll need to set up the required MX records (and TXT or CNAME records) in your domain’s DNS. You can contact the company where you bought your domain, they can help you configure the DNS correctly. In many cases, your domain registrar or hosting provider may already include email hosting in your subscription or offer it as an upgrade.

  Once configured, you’ll be able to send and receive emails using your domain name through your chosen email service.

  Hi Ariel,

  I appreciate your reply. Our domain name, "fearlessfemme.me," is registered with Namecheap, and of course the website at brizy cloud. We also have an account with Hostverge, which includes email hosting as part of our subscription. 

  To set up email accounts, we typically need to add "fearlessfemme.me" under "ADD TO DOMAIN SETTINGS." 

  My question is whether this will interfere with the DNS settings since "fearlessfemme.me" is already connected to Brizy Cloud.

  Hi Riyani,

  The DNS should not interfere as long as it is configured properly.
  To point your emails to Hostverge, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Namecheap account and select your domain (fearlessfemme.me) from the Domain List.
  2. Go to the Advanced DNS tab
  3. Add the following DNS records provided by Hostverge:

  • MX Record
  • A Record (for your mail server)
  • TXT Record (SPF)

  
  You can obtain these details directly from Hostverge. Once you have them, fill out the form in Namecheap and click Save All Changes. Please allow time for DNS propagation after the update.

  You may also contact Hostverge Support and ask them to guide you through the setup process directly.

  Here’s an example of a setup where the website is hosted on Brizy Cloud, while the emails are managed by a third-party email hosting provider. DNS is managed by NameCheap.
