Search bar element is not ADA compliant
Hi,
Our website https://elections.imperialcounty.org/ belongs to the Elections Department of a local government agency in the U.S. As a government site, it must comply with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) accessibility standards to ensure that individuals with disabilities can navigate it without issues.
When testing our site using the Wave Tool (a tool design to check websites for ADA compliance) we encountered the following accessibility error related to the search bar element:
Because this issue causes our site to fail ADA compliance, it’s important that we address it promptly to avoid potential penalties.
Attached is an image from the WAVE tool analysis.
Could you please advise on how we can resolve this issue?
