    Hello Henk,

There are two possible reasons why images may not get uploaded to the Media Library.

    • Image size: Image uploads have an upper limit of 10 MB. Kindly ensure you are uploading images within this size limit.
    • Image File format: Uploads may fail if your images don't adhere to the file format exactly.  The correct file format is typically produced by images that passes through TinyPNG image processing. Use https://tinypng.com/ to compress your image before uploading it to the Media Library to resolve this issue.

    Hello George,

Like I said the files are around 5mb, all of them are below 10mb and they pass through tiny image processing.

    Hello Henk,

Include multiple images that you are unable to upload to the Media Library. After attempting to upload the images to your project, we will provide you guidelines on how to prepare the images for upload.

    Hi Henk,

    Thank you for the update.

The upload issues you’re experiencing are caused by the large size of your JPG files. At the moment, you’re uploading images that are 5504 × 7339 pixels at 300 dpi. That resolution is intended for print or photo finishing, not for the web. On websites, such large dimensions don’t provide any visible benefit because screens typically display at 72–96 dpi. Instead, they make the files extremely heavy (5–10 MB each), which often leads to failed uploads, slow site loading, and timeout errors.

For web use, it’s best to resize images to match their actual display size on your site. As a guideline:

Full-width banners or hero images: around 1920 px wide
Content images or galleries: between 1200 px and 1600 px wide
Thumbnails or small images: between 400 px and 800 px wide

In addition, aim to keep images under 500 KB once compressed. Free tools like TinyPNG make this easy while keeping your photos sharp on screen.

Once optimized, your images should upload smoothly to Brizy Cloud and look great without slowing your site down.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.
