Preventing Default Padding and Margins

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for reaching out.

At the moment, there isn’t a built-in option to completely prevent Brizy’s default padding and margins. These defaults are there to help maintain consistent spacing and layout structure out of the box.

If you have experience with custom CSS, you can override these styles by inspecting the elements or assigning your own classes/IDs to sections and blocks. This way, you can apply your preferred spacing globally without having to adjust each element manually.

If you have any further questions, please let us know.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel,

    Ok, understood.

We do custom CSS, but often a we find it difficult to target the specific elements as it seems the builder uses a lot of nested elements/div.

Do you recommend assigning the div ID or Class directly to the inner most element (text, images, etc.) or the Blue Column containers or the Grey Section Rows?

Also, even if we get the CSS ID or Class targeting correct it’s often that we need to use the !important parameter to override the default Brizy CSS - do you have any advise on how to handle that?

    Best,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,

    Thank you for the update.

You’re correct that Brizy’s nested structure can make CSS targeting a bit challenging. The best approach is to assign custom classes or IDs directly to the element you want to style for more precise control. In many cases, though, using !important is necessary to override Brizy’s default CSS.

    Best regards,

    Hi Ariel,

OK, and this aligns with our experience using Brizy. Thank you.

We'll focus on targeting the actual elements inside the rows and containers then.

That's all and I don't have any further questions in this regard.

    Best,
    Daniel
