Sites A Wrecked After Update
After the WordPress update and updating Brizy to the latest versions today most of all our sites we manage are broken in certain areas.
WP version: 6.8.2
Brizy: 2.7.2
Brizy Pro: 2.7.1
I actually don't know where to start since so many things on different sites are broken.
Server cache has been cleared, security plugins deactivated, basic themes tried and still things are messed up.
We're missing icons, gradient text headers, menu navigations where dropdowns are over the main menu, etc.
Missing icons:

Missing text headers. These headers are have gradient:

btw, in the admin the Brizy page builder, the pages are showing correctly. This is a frontend issue.

Hi Chad,
Thank you for contacting us.
Please try to isolate the issue by disabling all other plugins except Brizy and Brizy Pro. It’s also a good idea to temporarily switch to a default theme like Twenty Twenty-Four to see if the theme might be causing a conflict.
If this didn't help, please share your WordPress admin login details with us so we can take a closer look. Please add us as an Admin user to your WordPress Dashboard and send the following details to communitysupport@brizy.io.

There are too many sites. The sites that have had issues, I was forced to revert to backups so I could get them back to working because clients were in an uproar. I'm not about to go back and update them.
All sites were running the newest versions of Brizy and WP.
All sites had security plugins, themes changed and server cache cleared. Pages were also resaved in the admin hoping it would hold changes but no luck.
Again, things that I noticed that were off were:
- main menu dropdown overlaps
- text that utilized gradients
- icon bullets
- brizy carousels were missing
Those are just some of the issues I seen. I literally updated 15 websites with your newest versions thinking that was going to solve issues, then went through websites to find the above issues. I then reverted back to older backups from few days ago to get the sites back up.

I did keep one website up to test with the new Brizy version that used broken elements. I was able to get certain elements to come back after making a small change to that section and updating the page. Elements that were fixed that way were icons, maps. This is not feasible to do on every page of 20 sites we manage. So I'm not sure what your fix would be.
The main menu dropdown wasn't fixed by making small adjustments and updating.
The website that was kept up to experiment on is https://easyridersevents.com/

I found out another piece of information. All sites that had a carousel element on the page triggered an error in the dev Console. Once the row the carousel was in was deleted and saved. The dropdown on the menu navigation started working on that page as normal and the error in the console for that page went away.
Once the section was added back in with the carousel element, the error wasn't present, and the menu navigation with the dropdown worked as it should.
Here is the error in the console before the carousel was deleted:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'outerHTML')

Even though we are finding workaround fixes after this Brizy version update. There's no way we can spend days going through 20 sites and pages on the sites, deleting sections, or updating elements and resaving. There needs to be another fix for this.
Do you have a suggestion, or are you working on a fix? I know we aren't the only ones with this issue since this is on so many of our clients' websites.

I use twenty seventeen as my default theme but getting the same broken features after the update. The issues are with carousels, sliders, dropdown menus attaining a -ve margin top, footers and navbars. It gets worse when the carousel is using dynamic data in that even when you make simple edits and save it does not rectify the issue.
Please rectify this issue.
The updates of 2.7.2 & 2.7.1 do not solve the issues we are experiencing but only improve a few pages.

Hi Chad,
Thank you for the update. I understand how frustrating this must be, especially when managing multiple client sites.
We’re currently investigating the issue you described. Having to go through each page manually isn’t a viable long-term solution, and we’ve already raised this internally with our team. While we don’t have an immediate fix yet, our developers are aware of the issue.
In the meantime, for urgent sites that need to be restored quickly, you can temporarily revert to Brizy 2.6.22 and Brizy Pro 2.6.14. You can download these versions here: https://supportfiles.brizy.site/
Thanks again for your patience.
Best regards,
