Critical issues after recent Brizy update
Hello Brizy team,
Following the latest Brizy update, we’ve encountered several major issues across multiple client websites:
-
Global sections not displaying — All global sections (headers, footers, etc.) are missing on the frontend.
✅ Temporary fix: editing or removing/re-adding the global section, then saving the page, makes it visible again. -
Brizy Pro extension issue (on some websites only) — The Pro plugin cannot be updated properly.
✅ Temporary fix: deleting the old Pro version manually and installing the latest one resolves the problem. -
Icons missing — All icons are not showing and appear as empty boxes.
-
Column order on mobile broken — The “reverse columns on mobile” option no longer works, affecting mobile layouts.
These issues are currently affecting several live websites. We've applied temporary fixes where possible, but a long-term solution is needed quickly.
⚠️ There are likely other bugs we haven't identified yet. We're continuing to test across different sites and configurations.
We’d really appreciate any guidance or updates on a stable patch.
Thanks for your support,
Romain

Hello Romain,
- Global sections not displaying: We have released Brizy 2.7.1 to fix the issue with the global blocks. Kindly update to this version, make a minor change to the block and update your project to fix this issue.
- Brizy Pro update: In case your WordPress Dashboard does not show an update notification for Brizy Pro, deleting and installing Brizy Pro 2.7.0 manually is the right solution
- Icons missing: Updating to Brizy 2.7.1 should fix this issue. If this does not help, kindly make a minor change to one icon in each block and update your project to fix the issue.
- Column order on mobile broken; We are still working on fix this bug.
