Issue with Reverse Column Feature After Updating to Brizy 2.7.0
Hi Brizy Team,
I’m writing to report a problem I encountered after updating Brizy to version 2.7.0.
After the update, the “Reverse Column” feature is no longer working. When I try to reverse the columns on mobile view, the images become misaligned and cannot be moved to the top as before. This has affected the layout of my pages, especially on mobile devices, where the intended order is critical for user experience.

Could you please help check this issue or advise if there’s a workaround? The feature worked fine in the previous version.
Thank you for your assistance!
Best regards,
GV

Hi GV,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
I’ve tested this on my end and was able to replicate the issue on my test site as well. I’ve asked one of my colleagues to look into the problem further.
In the meantime, we recommend reverting to the previous versions of Brizy and Brizy Pro, where the “Reverse Column” feature was working as expected. You can download the earlier versions from this link: https://supportfiles.brizy.site/
We appreciate your patience, and I’ll keep you updated as soon as we have more information.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Thank you for your quick response and suggestions.
I tried downloading the recommended previous versions from your link, I noticed that the header and footer were missing. The editor says they are not available because the Pro plugin version is not up to date.

Right now, my option is only to update to the new version to make the header and footer works and hide the image column on tablet and mobile.
On a related note, I hope these bug issues can be investigated and resolved soon.
Thank you for your continued support!
Best regards,

Hi GV,
Thank you for the update, and I really appreciate your patience.
If your temporary fix is working for now, I recommend sticking with it while we wait for a more permanent solution. Our developers are already aware of the issue, and a patch should be available soon.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Today, my client complained because both the header and footer disappeared from the site. I had already updated to the latest version, but downgrading is not a solution either, as the system still requires me to update again, which leads to the same issues.
After investigating, I discovered that the main problem is the Global Header and Footer feature – it’s no longer functioning. As a result, I had to manually recreate these sections for every page. This is especially frustrating because my footer contains an email form, so I had to update it one by one across all pages.
Additionally, I found another bug: the “direct to section” feature using Block no longer works. I had to revert to the old method, using the URL with a #anchor, which is less efficient and user-friendly.
Honestly, these issues are extremely disruptive, especially since they have resulted in client complaints. Please prioritize and fix these bugs as soon as possible.
Thank you for your attention.
Best regards,
GV

Hi GV,
Thank you for the update, and I’m really sorry for the inconvenience this has caused.
We’ve released Brizy 2.7.1 and Brizy Pro 2.7.1, which include fixes for several known issues—particularly those related to display and missing elements.

If possible, we recommend testing the update on a staging version of your site first to ensure everything works as expected before applying it to your live site.
Let us know how it goes or if you need any help during the process.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
Thank you for the quick update and for releasing Brizy 2.7.1.
I’ve tested the new version, and most of the previous issues seem to be fixed—thank you for your efforts. However, I noticed that the “reverse column” feature is still not working properly. This is an important feature for my layouts.
I hope in the future your team can perform more thorough testing before releasing new versions, as these kinds of issues have a significant impact on live websites and clients.
Best regards,
GV
