(Mobile) Website crashing repeadetely
Dear team,
We have multiple websites that are crashing on mobile. And also on desktop they're loading extremely slow.
I've attached here a link to a folder with screenrecordings of the issue: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/18xcd2jsnZ3jSqjk7yl-bEStZjbWDrQXl?usp=sharing
We can't really reduce the information and data we have on our website.
There’s definitely something wrong here across the website, and it looks like some sort of script that’s causing issues / too many redirects.
Do you know what is causing the issue and how to fix it?
Thank you very much for your help!

Hi,
Thank you for reaching out and for sharing the screen recordings.
We’ve reviewed your website on our end, but we were unable to reproduce the issue, everything appears to be loading correctly. This is demonstrated on this screencast - https://youtube.com/shorts/nB8oU7vGMkk
To help isolate the issue, could you please try the following:
1. Clear your browser cache on your mobile device.
2. Try accessing the website using a different browser or device.Let us know if the issue persists after trying those steps. We’ll be glad to continue investigating if needed.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,

Hello there,
I used an Android phone to test the pages you indicated in your screen captures, and they load without any issues. The problem you are encountering appears unique to the Safari browser. Please give these solutions a try.

Well it still doesn't seem to be a problem on the user's phone end but a problem with our website / the capabilities of Brizy if we see the same problem occur over and over across multiple platforms.
Can you provide me with a clear idea how to solve this issue?
The only one I see is to switch to an alternative platform to Brizy, rebuild the website, and see if it works better there. But of course, that's a solution neither of us wants. So if you have any ideas to fix this I'd be very grateful.
Thank you!0 -
Hello there,
Kindly search for the phrase "a problem repeatedly occurred on" on Google and see the results. Glance through the search results and let us know whether you think the above problem is unique to the Safari browser or to the Brizy builder.

You've stated that "it is a problem with our website / the capabilities of Brizy if we see the same problem occur over and over across multiple platforms" What are the different platforms you have tested your website on? Have you tested it on multiple browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera?
If we have evidence to conclude that the problem is unique to Brizy, we are happy to investigate further and offer a solution. Please get back to us with your findings and we will investigate further.

We've checked and tested it multiple times, on multiple phones, Safari, Google etc.
So far, it seems like it's mainly a problem on Iphone, both on Safari and Google Chrome.
That's where our most important traffic is coming from.
This is turning into a very big issue for us. Please investigate further to find out what the issue is.
I've also asked Chat GPT to help me analyse the console:After extensive troubleshooting, here’s what I’ve found from browser DevTools:
🔍 Console & issues details
-
TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'call') -
Failed to execute 'postMessage': target origin provided does not match recipient window's origin -

🔧 Request for help
Could you please:
-
Review the site’s published JavaScript bundles to ensure all dependencies load in the correct order, and no scripts are trying to access
undefinedobjects. -
Check iframe / postMessage setup to ensure target origins match exactly.
-
Advise if there are known issues with recent Brizy updates that could be triggering these
postMessageorextensionAdaptererrors.
I hope this helps! Thank you!0 -

Hello there,
When opening the DevTools on your website, the browser console looks clean without any errors at our end. and hence we do not have a starting point to investigate further.

Some issues with the iPhones could be causing this error. Can you let us know if the error persists on an iPhone after following instructions in these two links?0 -
Please don't go to traineffective.com when starting the investigation but to the websites we've been talking about before:

Hello
In each of the above pages, you have embedded 15-25 videos. The huge number of videos added to your pages could be causing Safari to crash.
When adding a cover image (thumbnail) to each video, only the thumbnail images gets downloaded during page load. The video files will download only after the user clicks on it. Kindly add a video thumbnail image to each video in a page and check if that helps to stop crashing the Safari browser.

In case you do not have access to the thumbnail images for your YouTube videos, you can download it from https://youtube-thumbnail-grabber.com/
