Hello,

We are currently experiencing a page speed issue with our websites hamstercleaning.be and onderhoudventilatie.be.

Could you please advise?

  Hello Tiberiu,

  On https://www.hamstercleaning.be/, the background videos slows down your page loading speed. Large video files, especially when auto-playing, can negatively impact page performance. Since the video is an integral part of your design, improving the page performance may not be possible.

  Several images show 404 File Not Found errors at https://www.onderhoudventilatie.be/. To see the 404 errors, kindly have a look at "Waterfall" tab of the GT Metrix report at https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.onderhoudventilatie.be/cGapa5F8/
  
  

  

   

  Kindly reupload the missing images in the carousel in the hero section of your homepage to fix these errors. 

  There are several JSON files which are showing 404 File Not Found error on your website. these errors are coming from a Google Service you are using.  Try removing the Google Service from your website temporarily and check if the errors disappear. Some investigation is required to find the cause behind these 404 errors.

  Hi George,

  Re-uploaded the images, but it seems that the page speed is still low, especially on mobile.

  I don't remember using Google Service on the website...

  Hello Tiberiu,

  You have an embed code from https://lookerstudio.google.com which displays https://lookerstudio.google.com/embed/u/0/reporting/935d8bbe-e2a4-4b4d-9c70-c6f5fd2400a8/page/pRoDE on your homepage.

  

  Instead of adding this as an embed code, if you add the same as a JPG image like the one at https://jmp.sh/I3nsIZeM, you can bring down the Total Page Size from 7 MB to 2MB and reduce HTTP requests from 170 to 90. 

  You have a hidden block on your homepage which has 3 big images. In the screen recording at https://jmp.sh/ks1Zjqqc, I show you the hidden block. Kindly delete this block to further reduce the page size.

  Hello Tiberiu,

  I still see a hidden block below the "Zo controleer je zelf of een reiniging nodig is" block with 3 images in your homepage. You can delete this as well.

  Hello Tiberiu,

  With 3 carousels, CookieYes script and a chat box, this could be the best page performance you could achieve. Improving page performance without reducing page content or scripts may not be possible.
