Redirects and subdomains

Hello.

I recently moved some websites from WordPress to Brizy Cloud. In two instances, I am using Sheetany for blogs (blog.domainname.com), with pages living on Brizy Cloud.

Am I able to create redirects, using the Brizy Cloud redirect tool, for old WordPress blog post URLs (domainname.com/post-1-name) to the new subdomain blog post URLs on Sheetany (blog.domainname.com/post-1-name)?

I do not know whether creating redirects for subdomains is allowed.

  Hello Brian,

  The redirects in Brizy Cloud works only for URLs within the root domain. It does not work for sub domains.

  You could explore setting up the redirect from https://blog.domainname.com/ to https://domainname.com/ using Cloudflare's Page Rules following the procedure in the tutorial How To Redirect A Subdomain to Main Domain In Cloudflare

  You will need to use Cloudflare's Name Servers to use the Page Rules. Please keep in mind that if you switch to Cloudflare Name Servers, you must disable DNS Proxy for the A Record and the CNAME Records you have added from Brizy Cloud.
