blog slugs
Hi there,
I have been working to recreate my site in Brizy the last couple of weeks and enjoyed learning the website builder. The blog functionality is a different story lol - far less intuitive.
I seem to be getting somewhere but the main issue I have no idea how to fix is getting the slugs right. Obviously when moving a site you want to keep as many links as possible the same to minimise SEO issues.
The majority of websites I have been involved with have the layout
website url/blog/post slug
When I create a post in Brizy the link seems to be just
website url/post slug
How do I get the "blog" to appear in the link to each post?
Hope that made sense!
Thanks
Brent

Hello Brent,
We did make an effort to use the url/category/blog post slug structure. Due to other priorities, we were unable to resume working on it after our first attempt failed. Unfortunately, getting "blog" to appear in the link to each post is not possible at the moment.
If you are rebuilding an existing website which is using the suggested slug structure, in order to prevent hyperlinks to your blog posts from returning a 404 Page Not Found error, you will need to set up redirects in your Brizy Cloud project.

Alright............will add the redirects and see how we go.
On a slightly related topic - the blog post date/time that appear bear no real resemblence to my local time and I cannot find any regional time settings. Am I missing something there? In the end it's not a disaster if I can't but it would seem logical to be able to do that if possible.
Also wondering why after I create a post that the delete button is greyed out - driving me a bit crazy while I am testing things :o)
Thanks

Hello Brent,
The publishing date is usually the date you are publishing it. Publishing time is taken from the time set in the Brizy Cloud webserver. There is no option to set a time zone for each project.
Please use the trash icon to delete a page or post from the list of Pages/Posts. Delete feature is disabled for a page or a blog post that is currently being edited. For example, the "About" page can be deleted only while editing any other page.
