🚨 Emoji Bug After Failed Duplicate – Project Broken (Pibry AIX)
Hi Brizy Support,
My name is Bryan Bennett, and I’m reporting a bug affecting my PRO project on Brizy Cloud under the email pibryinfo@gmail.com.
🔧 Issue Summary:
After using the Duplicate feature on my project, the new copy began displaying all emojis as question marks (?) — even though they previously worked fine. Attempts to reinsert emojis also fail. The original project now shows broken emoji rendering throughout.
This affects my live site:

I believe something in the duplication process corrupted encoding or font fallback. Emojis pasted directly from working Brizy projects still break on this one. Oddly, new projects work perfectly with emojis — like this one:

🔁 What I’ve Tried:
-
Replacing the emojis manually (still broken)
-
Creating a clone via the cloning tool (also shows ? marks)
-
Testing emoji text from a clean build — works fine elsewhere
-
Suspecting that the original “Duplicate” action might’ve caused internal corruption

Could you please advise if this is a known bug or if the affected project can be fixed? Or should I fully rebuild it using a clean base?
Thanks again — love the platform and hoping to get this resolved soon!

Update:
After further testing, I’ve confirmed this is a platform-wide issue, not isolated to a single project.Summary of Behavior (as of June 2025):
-
Most emojis are currently not rendering correctly on Brizy Cloud
-
They display as broken characters (
?) after saving or publishing -
This affects:
-
New projects created from scratch
-
Cloned projects
-
Previously working pages that now break after edits
-
Verified Working Emojis (at time of testing):
✅ ✨
Most others tested do not display properly.Live Example (left as-is for reference):

(Note: content may change in the future depending on platform updates)
Would appreciate any insight on:
-
Whether this is a known bug
-
If a fix is in progress, or if emojis should be avoided for now
Thanks in advance — we really appreciate the platform and hope to see this resolved!

Hi Yassin,
Thank you for contacting us.
This is a known issue from an older bug that has resurfaced, and we’ve already reported it to our developers so it can be addressed in the next update.
In the meantime, could you please share the specific page URLs where you’re seeing the issue? We’ll check them from our side and see if there’s a possible manual fix we can apply for now.
Best regards,
