    Hi Evija,

Thank you for reaching out to us.

It looks like there may be a compatibility issue with the latest version of the Polylang plugin. To fix this for now, could you please try rolling back to Polylang Version 3.7.1 using the WP Rollback plugin? After that, try editing and saving your translations again to see if the issue is resolved.

Pleases try this and let me know how it goes.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Thanks,

Did as you said and it still doesn't allow to update the site and save it.

what else could be there to do?

    Hi Evija,

Thank you for the update. It’s possible that a conflict with another plugin might be causing the issue you're experiencing.

To help narrow this down, could you please try temporarily deactivating all plugins except for Brizy, Brizy Pro, and Polylang, and then check if the issue still occurs? I tested this setup in my own test environment, and it seems to be working as expected - https://youtu.be/9r68IgbKYbI

Please give that a try and let us know the outcome, we’ll be glad to assist you further.

    Best regards,
    Ariel H.

    Hi Ariel!

Thanks so much, the issue was - I didn't know that I should create a new page for each language, so a + symbol then naming the new language page and then edit with Brizy.

Once I got my head wrapped around and thought of this option - it worked and makes sense, but it is such a hassle, it would be the best to add each language on the existing basis of the page that's already built in the first place. As you can imagine it makes it all look messy once I'll have all 4 languages added to my website.

    Hi Evija.

Thank you for the update, and I completely understand how that can feel a bit overwhelming at first. You're not alone, several users have run into the same confusion initially. That's just how Polylang works, it requires creating a separate page for each language, rather than building translations on top of a single existing page.

I agree it would be more convenient to manage everything from one base layout, but once you get used to the workflow, it becomes a bit easier to manage.

    Best regards,
    Ariel
