Business Directory

Hi,

We're using a Business Directory plugin, the category pages, see https://fn.freshhq.co.uk/business-directory/ work fine as they use a shortcode and we're trying to use Brizy to style the single listing but there is no way to pull the conent through into the Brizy template.

There are fields like:

Business Category, telephone number, website, tel no, business address, business logo etc.

Also and possibly unrelated when we try and preview a listing from the Brizy template it takes us to a blog post https://fn.freshhq.co.uk/farmers-weekly-article-on-herbal-leys/

  Hello Darren,

  It will not be easy to integrate a Business Directory plugin with Brizy. You could consider an alternate approach. 

  • Consider switching to a more versatile theme like Blocksy and use its header builder to create a header design similar to that of the Brizy header. https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/video-tutorials/customization/how-to-use-the-header-builder/
  • Similarly use Blocksy footer builder to design a footer similar to that of Brizy footer. https://creativethemes.com/blocksy/video-tutorials/customization/exploring-the-footer-builder/
  • Retain the Business Directory pages in your theme and do not stylize it using Brizy. You could also consider setting up a subdomain for the Business directory like https://business-directory.freshhq.co.uk/
