Blog is completely non-intuitive. Every time I change or add a blog post, all the others change.

Hi,

I am following up on previous support emails about creating blogs on a Brizy website. I have the Blog section created. However, now, every time I write a new blog, any pictures that I upload and any content that I write in the new blog, changes the pictures and content in ALL of the other blog posts I created in the past! I don’t understand what’s going on here.

I have three different blog postings. But when I add a new one, or edit an existing one, all of the other ones are automatically switched to have the new image and text. The only thing that remains different is the title. Can someone please helpmeet to understand how to create a new blog post without it affecting all of the others?? This is not intuitive at all.

Hello Daniel,

Your blog post Featured Image is a static image at the moment. In the image element, select the image icon, then the "database icon" and select "Auto" in the first drop-down list and "Custom" in the second drop-down list under "Featured Image" in order to configure dynamic featured images for your blog posts.

Since content is unique to every blog post, please do not place the main blog post content within a global block. Your blog post content must be placed within a regular (non-global) block. I have implemented this change in your blog posts with the title "Interactive Displays vs. Projectors: Selecting the Best Visual Technology for Your Classrooms"
