Domain Transfer Help
I presently have a WordPress Brizy builder site with a hosting company. I want to transfer the domain to Brizy Cloud. Can you give me the step by step instructions for making this change? The domain is registered with GoDaddy, but the hosting site is with a different company. I have the ns data from Godaddy. After making the switch, I assume that I will be able to completely disable the current WordPress site. Correct? Thank you for your assistance.

Hello Wil,
Kindly follow these steps
- Sign into your GoDaddy account. On the left sidebar, select the "Domains" option and from the list of domain names, select the domain you want to point to your Brizy Cloud project.
- Select the "DNS" tab, then the "Nameservers" tab and click on the "Change Nameservers" button
- Select the "GoDaddy Nameservers" (if you have not already selected it)
- Switch to the DNS Records tab
- Add the required CNAME record. If you find an existing CNAME record with www, change its "data" to your brizy.site address (like resourcebeagle.brizy.site).
If you do not have a CNAME record with the name "www", then add a new one with the required brizy.site address. Delete other CNAME records with the name "www" - Add an A Record with the IP 34.237.47.210. If you find an existing A Record with another IP, change it to 34.237.47.210. Delete other A Records with different IPs and ensure you have only a single A Record.
After completing the above steps, get back to us . We will install the SSL certificate for you.
