Unable to Activate Brizy Pro License – Error 403
Hello,
I'm experiencing an issue while trying to activate my Brizy Pro license on my WordPress site. Every time I attempt to activate it, I receive the following error message:
The remote server response code is 403.
All other plugins are deactivated
Thank you in advance for your help.
Best regards,
Romain

I contacted my hosting provider, and they confirmed that there is no specific server-side error that could be causing these 403 responses.

Hi Romain,
Thank you for contacting us.
The 403 error you’re seeing could be due to our security system detecting a potential blocklist match for your site or server. This can happen if:
1. Your domain or IP is listed on one or more global blocklists
2. You're on shared hosting with a poor reputation
3. There are unusual or suspicious traffic patternsWe use Sucuri for security, and it relies on external blocklists like Alienvault to help detect threats using the BLACK02 signature: https://labs.sucuri.net/signatures/waf/black02-blacklisted-ip-address/
After checking, it appears that your server may be restricted or flagged for further review using this tool
https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/results/coursier3-0.frTo resolve this, we recommend following the Protection Recommendations as mentioned in the above link. If your site seems clean but is still blocked, feel free to reach out so we can take another look.

Hi Romain,
Thanks for the update.
To help us narrow down the cause, could you please try the following to activate your license:
- Use a different internet connection (e.g., mobile hotspot or another provider)
- Try accessing from a different browser
- If possible, test on a different device or PC
- Record a short video of the issue, and kindly keep the browser’s Network tab open while doing so
- Let us know your current location (country/city), so we can try to replicate the issue using a VPN if neededThis information will help us investigate further and assist you more effectively.
Looking forward to your response!
Best regards,

Hello,
I just performed a clean reinstallation of WordPress. I also created a new database, so everything is completely fresh – no old plugins, themes, or customizations.
However, I’m still experiencing the same 403 error when I try to activate my Brizy Pro license.

Hi Romain,
Thank you for the update, and apologies for the delay.
It’s possible that our security software may have blocked your site. I’ve asked our senior support team to whitelist it so you can activate Brizy. I’ll let you know as soon as I have any updates.
Thanks for your patience.
Best regards,

Hi Romain,
Thank you for your patience. I just wanted to let you know that another user experiencing the same issue was able to activate their license successfully, so it’s possible that the behavior may vary depending on the server setup.
I’ll continue following this up for you and will keep you updated as soon as we make any progress. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,

Hello,
I purchased a Pro license and it’s been over 7 days now that I can't work on this website. This is quite urgent.
Would it be possible for you to activate Brizy Pro from my CPANEL, please?
Or could you tell me more about the origin of this issue? I already contacted my hosting provider and they confirmed that there are no problems on their end. I also performed a fresh WordPress installation and created a new database. Everything is “clean.”
Do you think migrating the site to another hosting provider would have a good chance of resolving the issue? That’s the last thing I can try on my end...

Hi Romain,
I’d like to see if we can work around this issue. We’d appreciate it if you could provide temporary access to your WordPress admin and cPanel. You can add us as an Admin user from your Dashboard and send the following details to communitysupport@brizy.io:

Hi Ariel, I did it.
Thank you

Hi Romain,
Thank you for your cooperation.
We've manually applied a temporary license for now, so there's no need for the cPanel credentials. Once a permanent solution is in place, you’ll be able to update the license accordingly.
You should now be able to start working on your website.
Best regards,

Great. Thank you very much ! 👍
Do you know the cause of this issue ?

Hi Romain,
We’ve found that your server is currently blacklisted from our license server, which is preventing it from communicating and verifying the license activation.
We attempted to whitelist your server’s IP address, but unfortunately, that didn’t resolve the issue.
As a temporary solution, we’ve assigned a temporary license to help you move forward while we work on a permanent fix. Once the issue is resolved, you’ll be able to replace it with your own license key.
Kind regards,
Ariel H.0
