Theme not displaying properly on website but fine in WP dashboard; menu not working as well

Hello,

Please help.

So my Wordpress website works and displays well in Wordpress backend, but some theme sections don't work or display well; links and menu don't work. Carousels and drop down elements don't work as well. Here's the website: buffmyprofile.com    for example, where you have the big white space on the homepage is meant for the carousel in the image right below,

  Hello Ariel,

  So, I reinstalled the starter template, checked it on another browser after clearing history and cache, and it appears to be fine.  I haven't gotten to work on the website yet, but, I will let you know if anything comes up.
