Database size

Hi Brizy team,

We’re facing an issue with one of our client websites: https://tasq-om.fr. We’ve noticed that the database size is increasing significantly over time, and after investigation, it seems related to the editor_data field within the compiled_html.

Even for a very small page, this field alone can weigh around 400 KB, which seems excessive.
Can you please help us understand what causes this and if there’s a way to reduce or optimise it?

Any advice or best practices to avoid this kind of database bloat would be really helpful.

  The editor_data field can grow over time, especially with frequent edits or complex layouts. To help reduce the database size, we recommend optimizing your database using a plugin like WP-Optimize or any similar cleanup tool. This should help remove old revisions and unnecessary data.
