Hamburger menu sub menus are not opening in mobile devices
Hello Brizy,
Our Website: https://www.cloudiqtech.com/
On our menu, We have created mega menu for "what we do" heading & a normal drop down menu for "insights" heading. On the desktop browser, the sub-menu works fine. But when you open the site on a mobile device, in the hamburger menu, the sub-menu does not drop on clicking the arrow.

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you for contacting us.
This issue is likely caused by a conflict with another plugin or theme. Please try disabling all plugins except Brizy and Brizy Pro to see if that resolves the issue. You can also temporarily switch to a different theme to check if the problem is theme-related.
If disabling other plugins fixes the issue, re-enable them one by one while testing the page to identify the conflicting plugin. If switching themes resolves it, consider using a more compatible theme such as Blocksy or Astra.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Best regards,

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you for sharing your site credentials.
I noticed that your site is currently using older versions of Brizy and Brizy Pro. I recommend updating both plugins to the latest versions, as this may help resolve the issue.

If you're unable to perform the update yourself, please confirm that you have a full backup of your site so we can proceed with updating the plugins on our end.
Looking forward to your reply.
Best regards,

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thanks for the update. Could you please restore the site from your backup? Unfortunately, updating to the latest versions causes the header to disappear. Kindly let me know once the restoration is complete today, so I can escalate the issue to one of my colleagues. It’s important that they work from the site’s original state. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Looking forward to your response.

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you once again for your patience. I’ve asked someone from our team to take a closer look at your site, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I have an update. Please give us some more time to look into this.

Have you got any updates on this issue?
Looking forward to your response.

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you for following up, and I apologize for the delay.
We’ve escalated the issue to one of our developers, as it’s not something we’re able to resolve at our level. My colleague mentioned that the header appears to be corrupted, which may be contributing to the problem.
We're still waiting for further feedback from the dev team and will make sure to update you as soon as we hear back.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel,
We haven’t seen any updates on the plugins or the site so far. Could you please provide an update on the status?
We need to restore the backup in order to proceed with other updates and to revert the server settings to their previous configuration.
Please let us know when you need the login credentials—we can restore & provide them again as needed.

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you for following up.
To avoid affecting the live site while we work on the issue, would it be possible for you to set up a staging environment? This way, we can safely troubleshoot without disrupting your live site.
Once the staging version is ready, you can restore the original site back to its previous state and share the login credentials with us. We’ll proceed with the investigation from there.
Let me know once it’s set up, or if you need any assistance getting the staging site ready.

I am watching this issue as I have similiar probs. Hamburger doesn't like nested items. I'm using a messy workaround just now and have tried all the obvious solutions, theme change/plugins deactivated. I found a bad call to the bzmath php extension in my server logs, resolved that and otherwise can find no error reported anywhere.
My sites are of an adult nature so will not share on public forum.

We have created a new staging environment. Please use the following URL and login with existing credential for the staging site

Hi Vijayakumar,
Thank you for providing the URL.
I tried accessing the staging site, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work, as confirmed by this screenshot: https://i.imgur.com/eGquyVR.png.
Could you please send the correct URL and also double-check the login credentials? I'll be happy to continue assisting once I have access.
Looking forward to your response.

Just checking in — could you please share the link to the staging site along with the updated login credentials? The previous login details no longer seem to work on our end.

Hello Gerry,
As Ariel is on leave today, I am looking at your website. I need help in understanding the issue you are facing.
On the Gynarchy Governance page, you have set up 3 text links instead of a regular WordPress menu. Hence on mobile devices, this menu won't switch to a hamburger menu. Are you wanting to set this up as a regular WordPress menu so that on mobiles, it can switch to hamburger?
The hamburger sub menu for "Information" menu on the homepage opens at my end. Please see the screenshot at https://jmp.sh/E6J8Lxoz Is this sub menu not opening at your end?

I have done this as the designated menu completely fails at hamburger level. This is simply a nasty fix. The correct menu that should be used is specified in email.
You are welcome to add the menu back in to see thee issue.
The change I made last night was to replace Information as a menu header tag with a page link by creating Information as an actual page. I tested this on Opera (using Chrome as my 'editing' browser) and it appeared to make no difference however I am finding Opera likes caching a lot. So yes, this one is indeed now working.
Thanks for your help. Odd quirk.

Hello Gerry,
I have added a regular Brizy menu on the Gynarchy Governance page and have hidden the text based menu. The hamburger menu works fine at my end. Have a look at https://jmp.sh/nYwz50I5
