Urgent: Frontend Not Rendering After Updating Brizy Pro to 2.6.8
Hello Brizy Support,
After updating Brizy Pro to version 2.6.8, the frontend of my website stopped rendering completely. In the backend, the Brizy editor works fine — all content and editing functions appear to be normal.
However, on the frontend, the following JavaScript error appears in Chrome Dev Tools:
(index):1155 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'emit')
at HTMLDocument.<anonymous> ((index):1155:64)
The code causing the error looks like this:
document.addEventListener('DOMContentLoaded', () => window.Brz.emit("init.dom", jQuery(document.body)));
It seems like window.Brz is not defined on the frontend, suggesting that Brizy scripts are either not loading properly or not initialized.
For troubleshooting, please note:
-
This is a clean WordPress install
-
Only Brizy and Brizy Pro plugins are active
-
No custom code or other third-party plugins are active
-
Theme is default (PBF as child)
This issue is critical, as the website needs to go live again by Monday.
Please advise ASAP.
Thank you,
Kazik Karczewski

The account has been set up, and the password reset email has been sent. This is not hosted using cPanel. Unfortunately, you will not have access to the console. If any changes to hosting settings are needed, please let me know.

Could someone for the love of all that is good finally take care of this service request?

Hi Kazimierz,
Thank you for your cooperation.
The front-end is now rendering correctly.

It seems this website may have been migrated to the server recently. If so, you can resolve the issue by making simple updates to the page, such as adding text, a period, or adjusting the padding by 1px on the affected blocks, then saving the changes. This will force the page to recompile and should resolve the issue. You can then undo the temporary changes if needed.
For best results, we recommend asking your hosting provider to update the following.

If you have any further questions, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,
