Wordpress widget shortcode no longer works

Hi, I have been using a shortcode to display the sidebar gallery widget in wordpress for more than a year, it has always worked great.

In the last days the widget is no longer displayed, but the shortcode text is shown.

I have made several attempts but I can't solve it, please help me

  Hi Gianluca,  

  Thank you for contacting us.

  To troubleshoot this issue, could you please try the following steps?  

  1. Add the shortcode to a regular WordPress page and see if it works.  
  2. If it does work on a regular page, try creating a new gallery, generate a fresh shortcode, and check if that one displays correctly in a Brizy Page.  

  Please let us know the results so we can further assist you.

  Thank you for your response.

  I tried to insert the shortcode in a simple page with wordpress editor, but it doesn't work either, it's like the command [do=widget id] is not recognized anymore.
  I am sure I entered the correct ID, but it doesn't seem to work....

  If instead of [do=widget id] I use [gallery id] I see a gallery appear with random images (even on brizy), but if I enter my widget id it doesn't work (because it is a different type of element).

  I can't find any other reports on the web, I only know that for more than a year it worked and stopped without me touching anything, probably as a result of an automatic wordpress update, it would be worth trying on another site but I can't

  Hi Gianluca,  

  Thank you for the update.  

  I suggest reaching out to the plugin developer, as they may have encountered this issue before and could offer a solution. In the meantime, I'll replicate the issue in my test environment and share any findings with you.  

  Also, could you let me know which plugin you're using for the gallery? This will help in troubleshooting.

  it was simply a classic widget built into wordpress, but it matters little because I solved it, I was able to restore a backup of the site and everything works again, even after updating all plug-ins.

  Thanks for the help anyway.
