Urgent – Unauthorized Double Charge of $252.73 – Immediate Refund Required

Dear Brizy Team, On March 29, 2024, an amount of $252.73 was charged from our account. At that time, the system clearly stated that this was for a 2-year subscription, with the next payment scheduled for 2026. However, to our shock and dismay, the exact same amount was charged again last night, on March 29, 2025, and now your system shows that the next billing will occur in 2027. This is an unauthorized transaction. No consent was given for a new payment, especially not a full year ahead of the originally agreed renewal date. Charging our account like this without notice or approval is unacceptable and legally questionable. I demand an immediate and full refund of the $252.73 charged on March 29, 2025. If this issue is not resolved promptly, we will initiate a chargeback procedure and escalate this matter to the relevant consumer protection authorities. We expect a swift resolution to this serious breach of trust. Sincerely,

  Hello Mihalko,

  You purchased the Agency WP plan on March 21, 2023 with these features.

  

  It is an annual plan and renews every year. Your first renewal was on March 29, 2024 and your second renewal on March 29, 2025. The renewal date of March 29, 2026 was incorrectly mentioned in your dashboard due to a billing error. We apologize for the billing error and we will soon correct the error in your dashboard. 

  Your subscription is yearly; it is not renewed every two years. The most recent transaction wouldn't be unauthorized if you plan to renew your subscription every year.

  Thank you for your response, however, we kindly request a refund for the most recent charge of $252.73.

  When we initially purchased the plan, the system clearly stated that it was a 2-year subscription, with the next renewal in 2026. This information was what we planned our budget around, and it was never communicated that it would change to a yearly renewal. Given that this charge was unexpected, unplanned, and not aligned with our current financial priorities, we have decided not to continue with the subscription.

  As such, we kindly ask for a full refund of the latest charge, as we no longer need the service and it was not budgeted. We hope you understand and can process this promptly.

  As per our terms and conditions at https://www.brizy.io/terms-and-conditions, refunds are available for the first 30 days after purchasing a new monthly or yearly subscription. For renewals, refunds are not available, meaning starting with the second month of the subscription or with the second year.

  Taking responsibility for the billing error on our end, we are making an exception for you. We have cancelled your Agency WP plan and have refunded $252.73 to your payment method. This transaction should reflect in your payment method within 7-10 business days.
