Google SERP not showing what we set as
Below is the how our landing page thestreetradio.com/hochzeitsband-berlin shows up as a google search result. In two ways this is not matching our input.
1: The image is not the image we set as a image for this site. It is something that was automatically generated from a video on our site.
2: more importantly: the meta description was also auto-generated and is not the search-engine-optimized meta description we used.
It has been showing up falsely in google search results from day one, so this is not an issue where we just need to wait until google scrapes our site again.
What can we do to correct this?

Hi Andreas,
This issue is likely related to how Google and your SEO plugin handle metadata. Google sometimes overrides the set meta description and image, selecting content it deems more relevant based on search queries.
To improve this, make sure your SEO plugin correctly sets the <meta name="description"> and <meta property="og:image"> tags. You can verify this using the following online tools:
- Google’s Rich Results Test: https://search.google.com/test/rich-results
- Facebook Sharing Debugger: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debugFor further insights, these articles provide useful details:

- https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/why-arent-my-updated-meta-descriptions-showing-in-google-serp/Additionally, submitting your sitemap.xml in Google Search Console and requesting a reindex using the URL Inspection Tool may help speed up the process.
I hope this helps.
