Hi Kristin,
Thank you for the update, and I apologize for the delay and any confusion with our community support mailbox.
Upon checking, I noticed that your form is currently using two mailers, WordPress and Gmail—both selected at the same time. It’s possible that while troubleshooting, the other mailer wasn’t disconnected, as only one can be active at a time. Right now, the form is functioning correctly with the current settings.
When setting up the form, please ensure that the "Email To," "From Email," and "Reply-To" fields are properly filled out. This is demonstrated on this screencast - https://youtu.be/eO0nb2-GZjA
If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out.
Best regards,

ok thanks so much for fixing that! It's getting to my gmail email but for some reason gmail is not forwarding to my______address. Not sure if the form has anything to do with that. ??
Also, do you have a Brizy RSVP form I can install on the website as well?
Thank you!

Hi Kristin,
Thank you for the update.
The best solution is to add a second email as a CC to ensure the email is delivered successfully.
Unfortunately, Brizy doesn’t offer a native RSVP form, but you can create a similar form using third-party integrations like Mailchimp. You can find more information on this link: https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360043381952-MailChimp

Hi, I had to redo the website and followed all of the instructions for the contact form and once again, it's not working.
I have everything filled out properly.
Do you still have the login info to check this for me?
Thanks!

I have another comment. I make changes to the website and then I send the website to people and it doesn’t save all of the changes. I don’t know why. I work on Safari should I be working in chrome?

Hi Kristin,
Thank you for reaching out again.
For security reasons, we don’t retain site credentials, so we’ll need you to send them once more in order to investigate both of the issues you've mentioned.
You can either send your site credentials to communitysupport@brizy.io, or add us as an administrator using the same email address. Please be sure to include the reference number 25633477840530 so we can quickly locate your case.
We’ll be glad to check the contact form and also look into why your changes aren’t being saved. If possible, please include links to the pages where you’re seeing the issues.
Best regards,

Hi Kristin,
Thank you for the update. We’ve received the credentials, but it looks like the user account doesn’t have administrative access, we’re currently unable to access the Pages section.
Could you please update the user role to Administrator?
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

new password and now administrator

Hi Kristin,
Thank you for the update.
We didn’t encounter any issues updating your pages during our checks. To troubleshoot the form issue, we created a test page here: https://halrineyreunion.com/email-test/. We had no problems saving this page, and we also tested making updates on your homepage without running into any issues.
Regarding the email issue, it looks like the problem may be related to your Gmail settings. You might need to reconfigure it following the steps in this support article:
https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360044216151-Email-notification-via-GmailI've configured the test page to use my Gmail settings, and the form appears to be working properly. You can see this confirmed in the screencast here: https://youtu.be/13uUXAPX6L4
As for your question about using Safari, Brizy generally works best in any modern browser, please ensure that you have the most updated version to ensure the best experience.
Let us know if you need any further help.
Best regards,

Hello Kristin,
I have tested both the forms at https://halrineyreunion.com/email-test/ and I received email notifications from your forms. The first and second screenshots are from first and second forms respectively.
Mail servers may reject an email if they suspect it of being spoofing when it is sent to the same address from which it originated. Please fill in the "Email To" and "From Email" addresses with distinct email addresses.
I have implemented the above suggestion in your forms. Kindly test and see if you receive emails in your inboxes. Please also check your SPAM folder.

I have 2 gmail accounts. The one I want to have emails from this form sent to is rineyreunion25@gmail.com
I did receive your test email but it went to my other account at kloudis14@gmail.com
I've enclosed screenshots
of what I entered. I have no idea why this isn;t working, it shouldnt be that hard!

also, WHY am I putting an email into the FROM EMAIL? This will be different for everyone who wants to send us a message. Shouldn't it be blank???

Hello Kristin,
You have correctly configured your "Email To" field to receive email notifications at rineyreunion25@gmail.com.
There are two important requirements when sending form email notifications through Gmail SMTP servers.
- To send emails using the Gmail SMTP server, you must authenticate your request by providing a Gmail address and a Google App Password (generated from that Gmail address). You can generate an App Password in your Google account after enabling two-step verification. Kindly follow the procedure at https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360044216151 to generate a "Google App Password".
- The Gmail address used for authenticating will also be used as the "From Email" address for email notifications sent through Gmail SMTP server. This means the recipient will see your Gmail address as the sender, even if you're sending emails from a different app or script that uses the Gmail SMTP server.
To send out email notifications in compliance to the above requirements, we recommend these settings. Kindly try out these settings and let us know if you receive email notifications.

Hello Kristin,
Form submissions may not have worked because you may have violated one of the 3 requirements of the Gmail SMTP server which we have elaborated above
- The "Email To" field and "From Email" must have distinct email addresses (cannot be the same)
- You must use Google App Password in the "Password" field (and not your Gmail password) to authenticate yourself
- The "From Email" and "Username" used in the form must be the same.
The first form at https://halrineyreunion.com/email-test/ submitted well at my end. Please check if you have received an email notification from this form.

I'M DONE. I WILL FIND ANOTHER FORM. SERIOUSLY, THIS IS WAY TOO HARD AND NOT CLEAR AND I HEARD ONE THING FROM SOMEONE ELSE AND ANOTHER FROM YOU. IF YOU CAN'T MAKE A FORM THAT EASILY CONNECTS, THIS IS YOUR FAULT. I HAVE DONE THIS A HUUNDRED WAYS AND ITS STILL NOT WORKING. FO!

Hello Kristin,
I tested the first form at https://halrineyreunion.com/email-test/. The form was submitted and I also received an email notification. You must have received a copy of the same email in your rineyreunion25@gmail.com Inbox.
Are you testing another form or the form at https://halrineyreunion.com/email-test/. If you are testing the same form, try it again using a different browser or using a different device (like try it from your mobile phone) and check if that makes a difference
What is Google App Password? For an application or a website to send out email notifications through Gmail SMTP server, Gmail requires that the application must use an "App Password" to authenticate itself (and not the human Gmail password). You can generate an App Password in your Google account after enabling two-step verification. Kindly follow the procedure at https://support.brizy.io/hc/en-us/articles/360044216151 to generate a "Google App Password". You could also have a look at https://jmp.sh/n8VSNQdm where we demonstrate the procedure.
