How do I disable Brizy cloud adding canonical tag pointed at current page
I want to remove Brizy Cloud adding canonical tag to the current page
The reason is I am using a blog plugin called Quickblog.co. It uses JS to create dynamic pages ie:
https://www.getsmileapi.com/blog?qb-b=ai-recruitment--revolutionizing-background-screening-with-ai-agents
But the container page : https://www.getsmileapi.com/blog is set to canonical by Brizy.
Google therefore is not indexing the pages with query string
Can I turn this off or supress it for /blog page?

Hi Jan,
Thank you for contacting us.
At the moment, there isn’t a way to disable or override the canonical tag in Brizy Cloud, especially when it’s automatically generated or influenced by third-party embedded scripts. Since Google may have difficulty indexing query string URLs, I recommend checking Quickblog’s settings to see if there’s an option to use static URLs instead.
If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know.
Best regards,

Hey Jan,
Hey Ariel
I have the same problem using the same quickblog platform.
Is there any news in 9 months?
Jan, did you contact quickblog platform and did you manage solving the issue? I can see from the blog post example you mentioned above that the problem is not solved.
Ariel, is it there any solution on the way from brizy roadmap?
It is the very reason i migrated to brizy from other provider: to be able to solve the canonical issue.
Thanks
gab

Hi Gab,
Thank you for following up.
Quickblog.co uses URL parameters to load blog posts dynamically via JavaScript. As a result, Google may treat those URLs as non-canonical and may not index them. In Brizy Cloud, the /blog page is always set as the canonical URL, and this behavior can’t be modified.
At this time, there isn’t a workaround available on our end, and we don’t have a roadmap item planned to support third-party, query-string–based dynamic pages embedded in Brizy Cloud.
To achieve a more SEO-friendly setup, this would need to be addressed directly by Quickblog.co, for example by offering clean URLs or an alternative integration method.
Best regards,

Hi Ariel — first of all, thanks for the reply. I tried reaching out to the platform, but I’m afraid there aren’t any quick fixes.
At this point the question turns in another direction: is it possible to foresee concrete implementations for the Brizy Cloud platform in 2026 for the blog? Things like bulk upload and editing of posts and publishing via webhook/API? Many of these are already-suggested features here in this blog, but no idea on the ETA....That would help avoid needing a platform like Quickblog.co....

Hi Gab,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
We understand how important features like bulk post management and publishing via webhook or API are, especially if you’re aiming to keep everything within Brizy Cloud without relying on third-party platforms.
I can confirm that the team does expect updates focused on improving blog functionality in Brizy Cloud, including better support webhooks or API integrations. Bulk uploads also have already been submitted as a feature request and is on our radar. Unfortunately, I don’t have a confirmed ETA or concrete timeline for when these specific features might be released.
We appreciate the feedback and thank you for your continued support.
Kind regards,
