Issue Updating Homepage in Brizy
Hello Brizy Team, We are experiencing an issue with our WordPress site when trying to update the homepage using Brizy. The changes do not save, and the page gets stuck in an infinite loading state, never completing the update.
Strangely, this issue only occurs on the homepage, as updates on other pages within the project work without any problems.
Actions Taken:
•We have installed and uninstalled plugins multiple times.
•We have performed several tests to rule out conflicts with other plugins.
To facilitate your validation, we have created an access account for you with the email kc.george@brizy.io. You can access the site at the following URL: https://devsavant.com/.
We appreciate your help in identifying the issue and finding a solution. Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,

Hi Ingrith,
Thank you for contacting us. Please ask your hosting provider to update the following PHP settings:

Increasing the PHP memory limit will help improve the user experience when editing and viewing pages, while increasing the PHP max input variables can help prevent saving issues.
If the issue persists, request them to disable ModSecurity for further troubleshooting. If disabling it isn’t an option, ask them to add the following directives to your server settings:
SecRequestBodyLimit 4194304 # Limit request bodies to 4 MB
SecRequestBodyNoFilesLimit 2097152 # Limit non-file request bodies to 2 MBLet me know if you need any further assistance.
Best regards,

Hi Support Team,
We have implemented the requested adjustments. However, we don’t have the option to disable ModSecurity on our server.
Despite these changes, Brizy still isn’t working properly when trying to save edits.
Currently, we are hosted on GoDaddy, and we’d like to know if you recommend switching to a different hosting provider for better compatibility with Brizy. If so, which hosting service would you suggest to ensure optimal performance and resolve these server-related issues?
We appreciate your guidance and look forward to your response.
Best regards,

Hi Ingrith,
Thank you for the update.
Since ModSecurity cannot be disabled on your current hosting, the issue may still be related to server restrictions. Before making a full migration, you might want to first set up a staging site with another hosting provider to test if Brizy works smoothly there. This way, you can confirm if switching hosts will resolve the issue before moving your live site.
Brizy works well with various hosting providers, but we generally recommend those that offer flexible server settings and compatibility with page builders.
Best regards,
